Disney+ has announced that their newest coming-of-age adventure series The Mysterious Benedict Society will officially make its premiere this Friday, June 25, with the first two episodes.
In The Mysterious Benedict Society, after winning a scholarship competition, four gifted orphans are recruited by the peculiar Mr. Benedict for a dangerous mission to save the world from a global crisis known as The Emergency.
The coming-of-age series is written and created by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay, with Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin set as showrunners.
The upcoming Disney+ series marks Hale’s first major TV project as the lead after famously appearing as a series regular in HBO’s acclaimed comedy series Veep, which wrapped its 7-season run in 2019.
