As production continues on Paramount+’s The Offer, Deadline brings word that Anthony Ippolito has officially been tapped to portray the role of Al Pacino in the forthcoming limited series about the making of 1972’s The Godfather.
The Offer is written and executive produced by Nikki Toscano and Michael Tolkin, with Toscano also serving as the showrunner.
Pacino portrayed the role of Michael Corleone in the classic mafia film, which has been one of his most iconic characters to date.
The limited series will also feature Josh Zuckerman, Meredith Garretson, Nora Arnezeder, Paul McCrane, Anthony Skordi, Jake Cannavale, James Madio, Michael Rispoli, Stephanie Koenig, Lou Ferrigno, Frank John Hughes, and Danny Nucci.
