Max on Thursday unveiled a new trailer for The Penguin, its series offshoot of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, in which Colin Farrell’s title character hopes to call the shots in Gotham after Carmine Falcone’s demise.
The Penguin is executive-produced by Reeves, Farrell, Dylan Clark, Lauren LeFranc (who writes and serves as showrunner), Craig Zobel (who directed the first three episodes) and Bill Carraro.
Much to Oz Cobb’s chagrin, the recent death of crime boss Carmine Falcone will not clear the way for him to run Gotham City as he’d hoped.
Ordered to series over two years ago, the eight-episode Warner Bros. Television/DC Studios drama “continues the epic crime saga” that filmmaker Reeves began in 2022 with Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Batman.
