The title, The Spy Who Dumped Me, is an obvious take on The Spy Who Loved Me, the tenth film in the James Bond series, starring Roger Moore, Curd Jürgens, and Barbara Bach. That film’s title, of course, comes from Ian Fleming’s novel The Spy Who Loved Me, the tenth book in the series, though the plot was different.
