Apple TV+ has finally released the first trailer for Oscar-winning filmmaker Joel Coen’s upcoming film adaptation of the classic Shakespeare tale, The Tragedy of Macbeth, which will be led by Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand as Lord and Lady Macbeth.

The Tragedy of Macbeth is described as a bold and fierce adaptation of the iconic Shakespeare tale of murder, madness, ambition, and wrathful cunning.

The Tragedy of Macbeth reunites frequent Coen collaborators including Bruno Delbonnel as the cinematographer, Mary Zophres as costume designer, and a score from Carter Burwell.
