Netflix has announced that they’ve officially renewed Gerard Way’s The Umbrella Academy for a third season after more than three months since the hit superhero series debuted its 10-episode second season in July.
The series is produced by Universal Cable Productions for Netflix.
The Umbrella Academy is based on the popular, Eisner award-winning comics and graphic novels created and written by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), illustrated by Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics.
Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse.
