US late-night hosts all ripped into Britain’s “V Day,” which began on Tuesday (8 December) with 90-year-old Margaret Kennan being the first person to receive Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine.
As Colbert pointed out, the vaccine Britain received is from Pfizer, which offered to sell extra doses to the US earlier this year, which President Trump passed on.
