Marvel Studios’ vice president David Grant along with Australian arts minister Paul Fletcher made the announcement and revealed that production will immediately begin for Thor: Love and Thunder after Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has wrapped its production.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit) which will be followup to his wildly successful 2017 sequel Thor: Ragnarok.
Following the confirmation of Thor: Love and Thunder at Marvel Studios Comic-Con panel last Saturday, the studio has announced that the upcoming movie will be filmed in Sydney at Fox Studios Australia, which is now owned by Marvel’s parent company Disney.
“Shooting Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsand Thor: Love and Thunder back-to-back will provide local crews with sustained, continuous employment opportunities.
