There isn’t a single incarnation of the Batman and Robin story in which Dick Grayson, the first Robin, and Batman, part ways amicably, and it looks as though Titans isn’t about to alter that particular bit of lore when it debuts in October.

Titans debuts on Friday, Oct. 12 on DC Universe, the joint streaming service created by DC Comics and Warner Brothers Digital Network.
In honor of Batman Day on Saturday, Titans released a clip that is near and dear to our hearts showing prodigal son Dick Grayson/Nightwing (Brenton Thwaites) meeting his rougher-around-the-edges replacement, Jason Todd/Robin (Curran Walters).
