Oscar winner Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump, Sully, Bridge of Spies) is set to lead the sci-fi film Bios, a hot spec script written by newcomer Craig Luck and producer Ivor Powell (Blade Runner, Alien), according to Variety.
Bios will be directed by Miguel Sapochnik (Repo Men, Game of Thrones) and produced by Kevin Misher (Public Enemies, the Carrie remake).
Several studios, including Legendary, Warner Bros. and Studio 8, are in negotiations to to try to make the film, which plans to take advantage of an early 2018 shooting date when Hanks is free.
