Television psychic and infomercial star Miss Cleo, whose commercials were omnipresent on late-1990s and early-2000s television, has died at the age of 53, TMZ reports.
In 2002, the Federal Trade Commission eventually shut down Miss Cleo and her promoters on charges of fraudulent advertising, though Harris herself was never indicted.
Most recently, Harris hosted an internet radio show in Florida, and in 2002 she voiced a character in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
She passed away in Palm Beach County, FL, after losing her battle to colon cancer which spread to her liver and lungs.
