The film’s launch bounced between dates before finally getting an April 2, 2021 release.
Fatherhood was originally supposed to be released on April 3, 2020, but Kevin Hart’s 2019 accident forced Sony Pictures to push back the start of production and the release date.
Kevin Hart is mostly known for his unique brand of stand-up comedy that he was able to translate to box office success, but the funnyman can also hold his own in more dramatic roles as well, as we saw in 2017’s The Upside, which was a remake of the french film The Intouchables.
Hart looks to pick up where he left off with the 2021 drama Fatherhood, which will see him take on the role of a father who, according to Variety, must raise his daughter alone after his wife dis during childbirth.
