A hotline set up to report claims of sexual harassment at this year’s Cannes film festival has been receiving “several calls a day” since its launch, a representative for the festival has said.
The Cannes film festival runs until 19 May.
They warn that sexual harassment is punishable with a maximum three-year prison sentence and a €45,000 (£39,600) fine.
The majority of calls made to the hotline do not concern participants at the festival, the representative said.
