The world of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad continues to grow, as Viola Davis is reportedly in talks to reprise her role as Amanda Waller in a Peacemaker spin-off series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The spin-off series will reportedly be written by Christal Henry (Watchmen), who will also executive produce the series alongside The Suicide Squad writer-director and Peacemaker creator James Gunn, Davis, and Peter Safran, who was an executive producer on Peacemaker as well.
Davis first appeared as Amanda Waller in 2016’s Suicide Squad film, before reprising her role in 2021’s The Suicide Squad.
The plot details of the HBO Max spin-off series are currently being kept under wraps at Warner Bros. TV.
