This year however will feature another major absence as Warner Bros. Pictures will not be hosting a panel in Hall H, CS has confirmed.
RELATED: Clint Eastwood-Helmed Richard Jewell Biopic Heads To Warner Bros. IGN first reported that WB’s ScareDiego would be the only presence by the studio, skipping out on the Hall H festivities this year and focusing on IT Chapter Two at the adjacent event.
The decision comes as quite a shock not only given it’s a major studio refraining from participating in the major event, but also because Warner Bros. has a lot of films in its upcoming slate that are primed for announcements and reveals at the convention.
Of all of the film festivals and conventions around the globe, San Diego Comic-Con is seen as one of the most important for the large studios to debut new footage and trailers and announce news for upcoming projects.
