Considering the sheer number of projects that he currently has lined up (including notable Marvel Cinematic Universe adventures like The Avengers: Infinity War and Captain Marvel), it does not look like he plans on retiring anytime soon.
One incredible aspect of Samuel L. Jackson’s tenure as an actor that often goes unmentioned is the fact that he did not become famous until relatively late in his career.
Although he has almost 200 screen credits to his name on IMDB, including early turns in Spike Lee movies, it wasn’t until the early 1990s (when Jackson was in his 40s) that he became a household name for his performances with movies such as Patriot Games.
It just goes to show the amount of work that he has put in over the course of the last three decades to become the silver screen legend that we have all come to know and love so dearly.
