According to Variety, a WeWork drama feature is in the works from Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, focusing on the rise and crash of the shared-workplace startup and its founder Adam Neumann.
The project is being adapted from Katrina Brooker’s reporting on the intertwined lives and ambitions of Neumann and SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son.
WeWork pulled the plug on an initial public offering in September after investors raised questions against its mounting losses.
The movie will be written by Oscar-winner Charles Randolph (The Big Short, Bombshell, Love & Other Drugs) who will also produce.
