Winter hiatus will be a week longer, but it sounds like we’ll get more episodes in a row without a break.
Still, having a fix of consecutive episodes ahead of the Olympics break could help soothe the sting of a hiatus.
Of course, the 2018 Winter Olympics will kick off only a month later with the opening ceremonies on February 9, so the run of episodes in a row won’t be all that long.
NBC has not made an official announcement about the reason for the delay, but EW reports that a network insider has indicated that moving the episode back a week enables the show to air more episodes without a break leading up to the Winter Olympics.
