In the metered markets, that rating was an even bigger 7.2, which tied the episode with a 2011 SNL outting hosted by Jim Carrey.
A 2010 episode of the series hosted by Betty White did an 8.8 metered market rating.
Per numbers released by NBC, the February 11 episode of Saturday Night Live did a whopping 3.6 rating in the coveted 18-49 advertising demographic.
The news is even bigger when you realize that this was an Alec Baldwin-hosted episode, an actor who normally would not bring in such high numbers.
