Patty Jenkins has explained why she chose the 1984 setting for Wonder Woman 1984.
Many fans have speculated about the Wonder Woman 1984 title being a nod to George Orwell’s classic dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.
Wonder Woman 1984’s setting allows the movie to have a pretty epic soundtrack, especially since DC and Warner Bros. can spend the big bucks.
While that has yet to be confirmed, Patty Jenkins was able to talk a little bit about why she chose that specific year.
