Co-created by Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash) and Ali Adler (No Ordinary Family), Supergirl season 1 premiered on CBS last year.
THR is reporting that Lynda Carter, who may be most well known for her starring role in the 1970s television series Wonder Woman as the titular superhero, has joined Supergirl season 2 in the recurring role of the United States President.
The Flash season 3 will premiere Tuesday October 4th at 8pm on The CW, Arrow season 5 will premiere in the same timeslot on Wednesday October 5th, Legends of Tomorrow season 2 on Thursday October 13th, and Supergirl season 2 on Monday October 17th.
So, it appears Berlanti and Kreisberg followed through on that statement and secured Carter for the recurring role in season 2.
