According to Page Six, there are two issues: the allegations by Ronan Farrow on behalf of Dylan Farrow and also the problem that Woody Allen movies don’t always make money and the director reportedly has had trouble financing films for years.
A spokesperson for Woody Allen also told the outlet these claims are not true, however.
Back in January, reports indicated that Amazon seemed to be distancing itself from the director, despite having a deal in place that should see Woody Allen do three more movies with the streaming giant.
Right now, there’s a tentative plan listed on IMDB’s Woody Allen page for a movie in 2020, but it’s unclear what that project is or if it could come together.
