According to Film Ratings (via Bloody Disgusting), director Mike P. Nelson’s upcoming Wrong Turn reboot film titled Wrong Turn: The Foundation has officially been given an R-Rating from the MPAA for “strong bloody violence, grisly images and pervasive language.”
The film is directed by Mike P. Nelson (The Domestics) from a script written by the original film’s writer Alan B. McElroy.
The Wrong Turn reboot will feature a cross-country hiking expedition that puts a group of friends in the land of an inclusive society called The Foundation, described as people who have lived in the mountains since before the Civil War.
The ratings site also listed Saban Films as its distributor which might mean that Constantin Film will soon announce their team-up with Saban Films for a possible late 2020 release.
