Twentieth Century Fox’s cinematic mutant universe has been around in some shape or form since Bryan Singer’s X-Men premiered in 2000.
Marvel TV and Fox teamed up for Legion, the FX series from Noah Hawley (Fargo) that has become a critical darling.
Still, another X-Men television series is in the works at Fox from showrunner Matt Nix (Burn Notice) with Singer attached to direct the pilot.
Fox recently concluded the story of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in Logan, while the studio’s prequel X-Men series wrapped up in a manner in X-Men: Apocalypse last year.
