Zack Snyder may have dropped his biggest hint about the existence of the Snyder Cut yet.
A number of significant changes were made, including brighter lighting and an over-saturated color palate; the addition of more jokes and one-liners; a new ending that didn’t set up Zack Snyder’s originally planned sequel; Superman was totally reshot (with some wonky CGI to hide Cavill’s reshoot mustache); and chunks of content were totally cut, including lots of scenes seen in the trailers, another Knightmare scene featuring Darkseid, and lots of backstory for new characters like Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg.
The road to the release of Justice League is a complicated story, and the full details are still slowly coming out, but the one thing that’s been made abundantly clear is that the Joss Whedon reshoots resulted in a theatrical cut that was completely different from what Zack Snyder originally intended before he was fired from the project.
