Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale was the recipient of two awards during the 2017 Television Critic Association Awards, which was held tonight at the Beverly Hilton.
The night also honored acclaimed documentarian Ken Burns with the Career Achievement Award and Seinfeld with the Heritage Award – the TCA’s way of honoring iconic figures in television.
Acting honors were handed out to 2017 TV MVP Carrie Coon, for her roles in both HBO’s The Leftovers and season 3 of FX’s Fargo.
“This was one of the most diverse seasons in recent memory, offering a wide range of programming that truly had a little something for everyone.
