A Series of Unfortunate Events has become well-known and beloved for its consistent willingness to break the fourth wall and make the audience an active participant in the story that its miserable author is telling.
It’s pretty clear that the folks behind the series have recognized how much fans enjoy that element of the material, and they have decided to double down on it as the series moves forward.
