ABC announced late Tuesday night that it has decided not to move forward with the struggling Hayley Atwell series Conviction.
Conviction stars Atwell as a former first daughter who is blackmailed into running the Conviction Integrity Unit, an organization dedicated to investigating and overturning wrongful convictions.
The rest of ABC’s new fall lineup – which includes Designated Survivor, American Housewife and Speechless – have all received full-season orders.
Conviction’s sixth episode, which focuses on a Black Lives Matter storyline, is scheduled to air Monday at 10/9c.
