Fox has committed to a script-plus-penalty deal with Riki Lindhome (Kidding) for a new single-camera sitcom, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Lindhome will star as well as co-write the upcoming Tails, with former Community scribe Monica Padrick sharing in the co-writing duties.
The two will executive produce the series alongside Amy Poehler and her Universal Television-backed Paper Kite banner.
The former Parks and Recreation star is behind the NBC sitcom I Feel Bad, Adult Swim’s Three Busy Debras, the Netflix series Russian Dolls, as well as the final season of Comedy Central’s Broad City.
