Production on the currently untitled drama is set to begin in Cincinnati sometime next week.
The film, currently untitled, will center on Robert Bilott, a corporate defense attorney as he takes on one of the most prolific cases in his career: an environmental suit against the chemical company DuPont, as they’re exposed for a decades-long history of chemical pollution.
Following the casting of Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Infinity War) in the lead role for the upcoming drama based on Nathaniel Rich’s New York Times Magazine article “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare,” Participant Media has announced the additions of Anne Hathaway (Ocean’s 8) and Tim Robbins (Here and Now) to the cast.
In addition to Hathaway and Robbins, the film has expanded its all-star cast with the additions of Emmy-nominees Bill Camp (Vice), Victor Garber (Legends of Tomorrow), Oscar-nominee Mare Winningham (The Affair), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place) and Bill Pullman (The Sinner).
