TVLine is reporting that Emmy winner Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) has joined Netflix’s comedy-drama Russian Doll for its upcoming second season.
The first season premiered on the streamer in February 2019 and was renewed for Season 2 in June 2019.
Russian Doll is co-created by Natasha Lyonne, Amy Poehler, and Leslye Headland, who all serve as executive producers, with Headland and Lyonne as writers for the series.
Murphy starred as Alexis Rose on the award-winning comedy series Schitt’s Creek, which recently wrapped its six-season run.
