Following a month-long bidding war against multiple studios and streamers, it looks like Apple Studios is in the clear lead of finishing the race as they officially enter the final negotiations for the rights to the untitled Brad Pitt-led Formula One racing film.
The racing film will be produced by Pitt’s production company Plan B along with legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
The untitled project will be directed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.
Deadline brings word that the project’s package deal will reportedly cost Apple around $130-140 million range.
