Set to be directed by Juel Taylor (Creed II) and co-written by Taylor and Tony Rettenmaier, the film will be produced by MACRO with the plot details currently being kept under wraps, but the tone is described as in the same vein of Jordan Peele’s Get Out.
Henry has been in the film and TV industries for over 10 years now, but it wasn’t until 2016 that he found his big break with one of the lead roles in Donald Glover’s acclaimed FX comedy Atlanta as rapper Paper Boi, for which he’s earned numerous award nominations, including the Primetime Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, losing to Henry Winkler for his performance in Barry.
