According to Deadline, Lost co-creator J.J. Abrams is currently developing a limited series adaptation of Billy Summers, based on Stephen King’s bestselling crime novel of the same name.
Published last August 2021, Billy Summers centers around a hitman who’s planning to retire from the business.
This marks the latest collaboration between King and Abrams’ Bad Robot after working on Hulu’s Castle Rock and Apple TV+’s Lisey’s Story.
The miniseries will be written by Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, with Zwick also serving as a director.
