Warner Bros. Pictures‘ Blade Runner 2049 opened in first place domestically with $31.5 million from 4,058 theaters, an average of $7,769 per location.
The movie grossed $6.9 million internationally this weekend, for an overseas total of $33.6 million.
Internationally, The Golden Circle earned $25.5 million from 69 markets and has earned $173.6 million, for a global total of $253.5 million.
Coming in at No. 3 was New Line Cinema’s IT, which added $9.7 million domestically for a total of $304.9 million after five weeks.
