Five years after airing its finale, Breaking Bad could be returning in the form of a feature-length film.
Variety reports that series creator Vince Gilligan is working on the project, which will have ties to the series that starred Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.
Breaking Bad, which follows a chemistry teacher who turns to a life of crime after being diagnosed with lung cancer, began in 2008.
Another TV series getting the film treatment is HBO’s Deadwood that finally began production this week with 12 original cast members – including Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant and Breaking Bad’s very own Anna Gunn – set to return.
