Deadline is reporting that the Cannes 2020 Film Festival has been postponed.
“Today, we have made the following decision: The Festival de Cannes cannot be held on the scheduled dates, from May 12 to 23.
The news follows yesterday’s announcement that Cannes has been working on a virtual market plan as a contingency option for the festival.
They have not yet officially confirmed if a virtual market will be running this May in place of the physical festival.
