Season 4 ended on a cliffhanger that was positively hellish, as it literally sent Lucifer back to Hell to serve as king again.
This wasn’t the first time that Lucifer ended a season on a killer cliffhanger with no guarantee of another season coming, but Lucifer returning to Hell is arguably a much bigger deal than Chloe seeing his Devil face.
