If you’ve wondered what Courtney Love’s been up to of late, the answer is apparently signing on to star in Shakespeare adaptations.
This isn’t Love’s first acting credit by far, having seen roles in the likes of The People vs. Larry Flynt, Revenge, Empire, and Sons of Anarchy.
Each season is set to take on one of the Bard’s most famous works, with A Midsummer Night’s Dream here being transformed into a modern-day thriller which is set to explore concepts of “terror, deception, and the dark side of love”.
She’s landed a recurring guest role on Lifetime (yes, the very channel that aired such iconic original films as My Stepson, My Lover and Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?)’s new William Shakespeare anthology series A Midsummer’s Nightmare, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
