Longtime film actor Danny Aiello, the star of movies like Do the Right Thing, Fort Apache the Bronx, Moonstruck, and many more, died earlier this week.
Danny passed away at a medical facility in New Jersey where he was being treated for a sudden illness.
Danny’s family had come to visit him Thursday, and we’re told he died shortly after they’d left that evening.
We’ll give the last word to Spike Lee, who posted this moving tribute to his star on Instagram.
