Star Wars shows are also being developed for Disney+, including The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian and an untitled series revolving around Rogue One’s Cassian Andor.
Within the first year of Disney+, the service will feature all of the movies in the Star Wars series, including the original trilogy.
Disney+ will host five hubs dedicated to the major franchises owned by media company: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
It will be a comprehensive streaming platform featuring all the TV shows and films produced by Disney since 1937, as well as new exclusive content.
