In addition to the minimum wage pay increase, workers will also receive an additional 50 cents per hour, retroactive to September of 2017.
They will also receive $1,000 bonuses that were promised by Disney following the passage of the recent national tax bill but were allegedly being held up by Disney and used as leverage in the negotiation.
The new labor package will be voted on by members next week but Eric Clinton, president of Unite Here Local 362 told CNN he expects the vote to be “a resounding ‘yes'” from the membership.
