Fincher was previously working on an adaptation of the graphic novels in 2009 at Paramount, though it never got off the ground.
After partnering with the streaming platform for the acclaimed thriller series Mindhunter and six Golden Globe-nominated Mank, David Fincher is reuniting with Netflix for a feature adaptation of Alexis Nolent’s graphic novel series The Killer, according to Deadline.

The film is set to be produced by Ceán Chaffin and though noted that it’s currently unconfirmed, sources report that Fincher is currently in talks with fellow Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender (Next Goal Wins) to star in the film.
