The Flashpoint and Batgirl movies are among the DC Films projects expected to enter production after director Patty Jenkins’ begins shooting Wonder Woman 2 later this year.
Hamada has now added another accomplished individual to his DC Films team, and begun to firm up plans for which DC movies will come next, after the Wonder Woman sequel.
Both Flashpoint and Batgirl have directors tentatively attached, in the forms of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (directors of the Vacation reboot and this week’s action/comedy release Game Night), and Avengers filmmaker and Justice League reshoots director Joss Whedon, respectively.
Walter Hamada, who has previously enjoyed great success (critical and financial) working on WB’s The Conjuring cinematic universe, is now overseeing the movie production side of DC Comics.
