A film adaptation based on Pamela Druckerman’s autobiography French Children Don’t Throw Food is in development at StudioCanal with Oscar winner Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables, Rachel Getting Married, Love & Other Drugs) set to star, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film adaptation would be financed by StudioCanal and produced by Graham Broadbent and Peter Czernin’s Blueprint Picture (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Emma).
The movie, described as Julie & Julia in tone, would follow an American journalist who moves to Paris for her husband’s job and raises a family there.
The most recent draft of the project is written by Jamie Minoprio and Jonathan Stern.
