Crunchyroll and Funimation are coming together for good, as Crunchyroll has announced that the Funimation Global Group content will be folded into Crunchyroll, allowing fans to have one giant, unified anime streaming subscription.
Beginning today, new and existing Crunchyroll subscribers will have access to the entire library and simulcast content of Funimation.
“When we brought Funimation and Crunchyroll together last year, our top priority was to put fans first,” said Colin Decker, CEO of Crunchyroll.
The move comes following the announcement in August 2021 that Crunchyroll and Funimation would be merging.
