During a recent interview with EW, King has finally addressed this by confirming that the second season is indeed being developed. “There’s going to be a second season of The Outsider as soon as they can get the production going,” King said.
Even though HBO hasn’t made any official announcement on the second season renewal of Richard Price’s series adaption of Stephen King’s The Outsider, the cast has been hinting on the series’ future which was previously first billed as a miniseries.
The Outsider follows police detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn), as he sets out to investigate the mutilated body of 11-year-old Frankie Peterson found in the Georgia woods.
