Legendary actor Henry Winkler is known for many iconic roles, but one that some fans may not know him for is Paramount Pictures’ The One and Only, a film that sees a would-be actor trying to become a pro wrestler.
The late director was beloved by many, including Winkler, who called him a “magician with words” and said that someone like him would never be replaced.
Winkler also spoke about working with Carl Reiner, who directed the 1978 film.
Speaking with WrestleZone’s Dominic Deangelo, Winkler looked back on the film and getting to work with some wrestling legends, including the likes of Roddy Piper and Chavo Guerrero, who played in-ring enemies of Winklers in the film.
