It appears that Don Draper has been working for The Donald.
In recent Federal Election Commission filings, Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign listed Draper Sterling as an advertising firm to which it paid several thousands of dollars in April of this year.
“Hold up a minute, sweetheart,” you say, “Draper Sterling wasn’t even the name of the Mad Men firm.” And that’s correct; the business at the heart of the iconic AMC drama started out as Sterling Cooper, morphing into Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce before settling on Sterling Cooper & Partners toward the end of the series.
Is it possible that a legitimate business with that name exists there?
