J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot is working with World of Wonder (RuPaul’s Drag Race) to produce a dramedy about the life of club kid and drag queen-turned-fashion icon RuPaul, according to Deadline.
Bad Robot is currently producing the HBO drama series Westworld and the upcoming series Castle Rock, based on the works of Stephen King.
The show is about to begin its ninth season, and RuPaul won an Emmy Award for best reality series host for his work.
The half-hour dramedy series will be a fictionalized version of his real-life story.
